A&D Weighing is proud to announce the launch of the world’s first waterproof and dustproof 1 milligram (0.001 g) resolution balance, the FX-iWP. The IP-65 rated FX-iWP is suitable for use in dusty or wet environments such as pharmaceutical processing, baking, coal, paint, and chemical industries. 
The FX-iWP can also be used to weigh liquids and powders without the fear of spilling onto and damaging the balance. The features are the same as the revolutionary FX-i Series released last year by A&D, which include the proprietary Compact Super Hybrid Sensor (SHS),
 small (10.3” x 7.6”) footprint, multiple weighing units, and Statistical Calculation Function (SCF). It is packaged in an attractive silver-colored aluminum alloy housing, and has an optional rechargeable battery.

The FX-iWP offers several connectivity choices, from the standard RS-232C to the optional USB port or optional Ethernet interface with WinCT-Plus software.  The Statistical Calculation Function (SCF) provides statistical data display or output of weighed samples. The FX-iWP is capable of measuring in twelve different weighing units and also has percentage and counting functions. Six models are available: 122 g, 220 g, and 320 g capacities all with 0.001 g resolution and 1220 g, 2200 g and 3200 g models with 0.01 g resolution.
